Book review on Devil’s Arithmatic

4/25/08 book review on devil’s arithmatic.
Then book the devil’s arithmetic is a very good book from a movie about a real life event. This book has fictional and nonfictional parts. The fictional part is about a girl traveling through time. The real part is about the holocaust.
One of the main characters is a girl named Hannah. She is a Jewish girl. She doesn’t want to go to the Passover at her aunt’s house. She wants to be left alone and doesn’t care about the Passover. When she “dreams” about going back in time
she will never ask about the past, because she’s been through it.
This story takes place in New York, The Bronx and the past new Rochelle,
there are lots of places that are in this book. Hannah travels to all of them. She eventually gets back to her time and talks to her aunt Ava and talks about everything she saw.
During this story Hannah experiences things about the past. She doesn’t want to remember these things. She already knows these things so she will never ask why she has to go to her aunts house. She is glad it was a dream and not reality.
